Well where do I start? A little about me I suppose.

I'm Danielle, I'm 24 years old and live with my husband and two dogs on an army barracks in Gloucestershire.

We got married on Valentines Day 2003, and in July 2003 we decided to start trying for baby #1. I came off of the pill and was all prepared to be pregnant the next month. How wrong could I be?? After 3 months, my periods had still not returned so I thought I had better go and get checked out by my GP. She was very helpful. She sent me for blood tests, which came back a week later indicating that I had PCOS. She then referred me to a gynaecologist who sent me for more blood tests to check for Chlamydia and rubella immunity and also for an ultrasound scan. The blood test confirmed I had not had Chlamydia and was immune to rubella, and the scan showed that my ovaries were clear and had no cysts(strange for a person with pcos).

My second appointment with the gynaecologist was in January, where he prescribed me 3 months of 50mg Clomid. This failed to make me ovulate but 2 weeks after finishing the final course, my body finally had a natural period!! 10 months after coming off the pill!!

My third gynaecologist appointment was at the beginning of this week. I have been booked in for a lap and dye and ovarian diathermy on Sept 15th, and he has prescribed me 3 months of 100mg Clomid, and a course of tablets to induce a period. Will it work this time?.....we will have to wait and see.... xxx
